Farragut Square Training

DATE: September 18, 2015
Heroes for Hearts was invited to lead multiple 5 - 10 minute Citizen CPR Classes at Farragut Square in Washington D.C. September was National Preparedness Month and CPR training was a great way to prepare D.C. community members to be ready to safely act in any situation that would require CPR. The event was aimed at community members who were passing by the high volume area, with an effort to teach them in a limited amount of time. Heroes for Hearts members also engaged and educated community members on why CPR and AED skills are needed and provided information on CPR bystander rates in D.C.
